A shooting at a warehouse in Worcester early Saturday left one person seriously injured and several more wounded as well, according to police.Read More: Man dies in accident with construction equipment in Leicester Friday

Law enforcement were dispatched to the warehouse at 88 Webster St. for a report of a person shot. Worcester police officers entered the building and found the male shooting victim with serious injuries. He was given medical aid and driven to the hospital by ambulance, authorities said.

Shortly after officers arrived at the scene, they became aware of several more people who were shot. Police located shooting victims at various locations near the warehouse and at area hospitals. They were given medical treatment, and detectives arrived to process the crime scene, the Worcester Police Department said in a statement.Read More: Andrew T. Authorities did not immediately disclose to the public how many people were shot nor the circumstances behind the shooting.
