If you’re reading technicals, that can work for both longer and shorter durations. But if you’re looking at fundamentals, it really applies more to a hold time that’s multi-year.
Usually, stocks with great charts have great fundamentals, and stocks with great fundamentals have great charts.
In other words, it really depends on your hold time, in my personal opinion.
