MoonPayPresident of EnterpriseKeith Grossmanand MastercardMA Chief Marketing & Communications OfficerRaja Rajamannar announced apartnership Wednesday for exploring how Web3 tools can enhance experiential marketing and connect with consumers in multiple ways.

MoonPay is a cryptocurrencyand non-fungible token payments app, and the partnership will enable it to use Mastercard'sCrypto Credential system, an avenue to ensuretransactions are trusted and compliant with regulations, and also integratepayments technology like Mastercard Send and Click to Pay, according to the crypto company.

Otherlife, MoonPays subsidiarythat provides Web3 creative agency services, development, strategy, and experiential services, will play a key role in the partnership.

In early 2023, Mastercard announced the Mastercard Artist Accelerator, a Web3 and music education platform allowing musicians to create, collaborate, and monetize their work using Web3 tools and resources. Earlier Wednesday, Mastercard also announced its partnership with non-custodial wallet firms like MetaMask and Ledger.

In early September, Visa Inc V extended its stablecoin settlement capabilities to the Solana blockchain by collaborating with major merchant acquirersWorldpay and Nuvei. The company recently partnered with the Bitcoin rewards appFold to expand its ongoing partnership toserve as the exclusive network partner for Fold's prepaid debit products in North America, Europe, Latin Americaand the Caribbean.
